Take control of the QUALITY of your life and your WELL-BEING

The – T – Clinic has been set up to answer and treat a growing need among men who feel that they are not performing as they used to.

Our programme is based on a clinical and bio-chemical evaluation of each individual.

Treatment programmes are worked out according to each patient’s individual condition, needs and expectations and run and overseen by a qualified medical practitioner, Dr Opperman.

The-T-Clinic is part of the Pure Esthetics complex in Pretoria and is run by medical doctor and easthetics specialist, Dr Mark Opperman.

He has extensive experience in his fields gained from working both in the United States and locally over the past 16 years.

As the stigma surrounding esthetic medicine ameliorates, Dr Opperman has found that more and more have consulted him in order to feel and look better.

By correcting hormone imbalances in men of varying ages there has been enhanced physical, mental and overall well-being, which includes restoring muscle strength, optimising bone density and improving mental functions.

Low testosterone is something you don’t have to live with. There are safe and effective treatments that can positively change your life. If you think that you might be suffering from some of the symptoms of Low Testosterone, the best thing to do is to consult a medical professional specialising in mens health.

Why Testosterone?

Testosterone is the principal male sex hormone and affects most systems in the male body. A drop in the sensitivity to, or the production of, this hormone has far reaching implications, including neurological, metabolic, cardiovascular, endocrine and reproductive functioning.

Men with low levels of the hormone are prone to general symptoms, including, mood swings, irritability, poor concentration, and changes in sleep patterns. There is an increased risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease, osteoporosis, diabetes, weight gain and increased cholesterol. One of the most common symptoms is decreased libido and sexual performance.

Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) has been clinically proven to treat and alleviate these symptoms and improve well-being.

How it works

Just like women go through menopause, men go through a similar condition called andropause. Testosterone levels decline gradually with age, about 1% a year after men reach the age of 30.

It is far more than just a hormone that controls the male sex drive. Testosterone promotes well-being.

If you are a healthy male who finds himself under performing in various areas of your life, the reason could be a low testosterone level.

The good news is that Testosterone Therapy is very effective!

Testosterone therapy is generally considered a long term therapy. Patients will be required to have a full medical examination including patient history and blood tests. A number of other tests may be conducted depending on the patient’s needs. Treatment programmes are based on the above findings and then routine check-ups will form the basis of maintenance therapy.

Testosterone replacement therapy is appropriate and safe for men with low and below normal levels if done by a qualified practitioner.
The goals are to restore hormone balance resulting in a sense of well-being, improved mental function, heart and bone health, restoring muscle strength, sexual function and increased libido.

"Thank you for actually wanting to help me as its bad enough to have a personal issue like this with a doctor that could not be bothered how many times one gets laid or not. lol But you seem to understand that this is far more complex than just wanting to perform sexually and seem to make an effort to understand, evaluate and treat and monitor my problem as a whole very well. Thank you for this."
